Bon Temps Party Platters serves Creole food at near coffee shop prices. The Cajun popcorn (shrimp) is exemplary, as is the bowl of gumbo ya-ya with chunks of chicken and andouille sausage. The fried catfish with hush puppies is one of the melt-in-your-mouth variety, and a number of étouffées are offered nightly, including alligator! Don’t forget the sides of red beans and rice, plus a couple of Dixie beers to wash everything down.
